Our Service Delivery Approach

Our Service Delivery Approach is designed to assist Carers, Young People, Stakeholders and Families through the implementation of the Arches Practice Framework, underpinned by Therapeutic Relationships, Trauma Informed Practices, Realistic Case Planning and an overall Collaborative Approach.

Intensive Therapeutic Crisis Accommodation

This is available for Young People who require expert residential care and where other models aren’t able to meet their needs.

Intensive Shared Care Intervention

Designed to help Carers (Foster and Kin), Residential Placements, and Families who are considering relinquishing care of a Young Person due to challenges.

Planned Therapeutic Respite

This is proactive in application and includes the development of carer resilience and reduction of carer burnout, fatigue, and turnover.

We give support, training and informed guidance to help prevent burnout, cultivate existing relationships, and ensure goals are reached during support periods.

Service Provider Support

We help service providers and other agencies ensure the best possible outcome is reached for all clients and stakeholders involved through feedback and training.

Our Services

Intensive (Complex / Extreme Needs) Therapeutic Crisis Accommodation

Specialist Residential Care Support

This is available for Young People who require expert residential care and where other models (co-tenancy/group residences) aren’t able to meet their needs.

Transition & Case Management

We help transition clients into longer term placement options, while working alongside incoming providers in a planned handover of case management.

One on One Approach

We provide a client-centred, relationship based, trauma informed intervention underpinned by the A.R.C.H.E.S. Model of Care.

Client Care

The safety, containment, psychological and emotional regulation for the client is the key focus.

Restore Relationships

We help the development of carer resilience and reduction of carer burnout, fatigue, and turnover.

Strengthen Confidence for Growth

This approach is to help develop and strengthen confidence and the relationship of all parties involved.

Proactive & Sustainable

This is proactive in application and includes scheduled consistency to support the sustainment of a current placement.

Builds Confidence

With naturalised experiences such as sleepovers or staying with family, Young People can have their own time tailored to their planned respite.

Intensive Shared Care Intervention

Stabilise Crisis Situations

Designed to help Carers (Foster and Kin), Residential Placements, and Families who are considering relinquishing care of a Young Person due to challenges being experienced.

Supporting Young People

This breakdown may have been caused from complex trauma being experienced and challenging/pain based behaviours being displayed.

Hand in Hand Approach

Empowering all involved, through specialised crisis responses, training, direct client work, and psychoeducation to stabilise care arrangements and on-going placement options.

Collaborative Problem Solving

To assist the Young Person to remain in their primary residence with carers and be supported to engage, we can look at a shared schedule with alternating nights. Carers can also be provided with in-home support to facilitate and repair relationship dynamics with collaborative problem solving.

Respite Placement

We will provide support for an agreed number of nights per week outside the home at a respite placement.

Therapeutic Care Model

Supporting clients in a trauma informed and strengths based approach. Focusing on mental, physical, emotional, and social skills and overall well-being.

Planned Therapeutic Respite

Proactive & Sustainable

This is proactive in application and includes scheduled and consistent support to assist long term sustainment and stability of a current placement.

Restore Relationships

We help the development of carer resilience and assist in reducing carer burnout, fatigue, and turnover. We can also assist with facilitated relationship repair between Carer and Young Person where required.

Builds Confidence

With naturalised experiences such as sleepovers or staying with family, Young People can have their own time tailored to their planned respite.

Tailored to Fit

This service is operated from Friday to Sunday evening, however can be planned and scheduled in advance for alternative days where required.
